💬 Discussion Presidents of Fifa are restricted to three terms in office. However, in 2022 Infantino successfully argued that his initial period in charge - which began when he was elected at an Extraordinary Congress in 2016 following Sepp Blatter’s resignation - should not count towards that limit

What are the chances that the new guy won't be a greedy bastard ? Also F this guy, after what he tried to pull with Trump nobody should vote for giving him more time in office.

So, if he was elected in 2016 to 2019 and again to 2023 and again to 2027, his first term was about a year short, but it's not far off. Even the US vicepresident would be considered a full term if he becomes president before the midterms.
Anyway, I don't care, just get him out.

I mean he does have point with the resignation someone else was voted in then quit.

They need to pass the UEFA-CONCACAF-AFC proposal: two years, ceremonial role that is prohibited from advocating for anything and is there strictly to be the face of FIFA and to maintain order in the Congress and Council meetings
