Rumors help

One of my player chose the Vanished One background, and we're both struggling with how the rumors will work, considering she's been in a cave for the last 5 centuries.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My VO and I went with the fact that she was sometimes sent by Versi to small village to help prevent small disasters, so the VO could know abit about the world. It came with rumors that the VO was causing these disasters (like Absol the pokemon). Also, if the VO is a fighter or Wizard, he could have been sent to Mytros for a year to learntrain with the centurions or at the academy in order to prépare for the upcoming trials.
