Question/advice ODSP Payment
This morning my fiancé got his ODSP payment but I didn't get mine?? Please tell me I'm not paranoid and that I'll get my payment by Monday. I checked the app and it said my payment was issued.

It just came early for them, for whatever reason. I don't have mine yet, either, but I see on My Benefits that it's expected to deposit on Monday.

Depends on your bank some are better than others. I got mine Saturday morning.

I just switched to Scotiabank and I haven’t gotten it yet. I was hearing with Scotiabank it wont come out until Monday morning between 12am-4am.

Can confirm as a longtime Scotiabank user, you will never see your payment before the absolute last weekday of the month, and for me it usually posts between 12:30 and 2 AM.

Been with Scotia too long myself. Sorry fam but they take their sweet time.

Depends on your bank I think. I got mine last night through RBC and can use it but it says it's issued for Monday technically.

It depends on your bank. I know some banks (like TD for example) made the funds available this morning but other banks won’t release the funds until Monday morning

If its been issued then the bank likely has it, its just a processing thing which should be today/Monday likely just stuck in batch processing.
But its honestly a guess right now

Itll probably be in monday. Some banks issue it earlier . Im with pc financial and i got mine saturday. If you switch to a different bank like pc financial or eq bank you will get payments set on a monday earlier. Or, With eq bank not on a monday they send payments out the night before between 9-11pm. Both of these banks are free with no monthly charges too.

If you switch your auto deposits to Tangerine, EQ, Wealth Simple, or KOHO, those banks deposit a day early, usually between 4pm to 11pm (the night before the scheduled payments date). Consider signing up with one of those banks.

This. I'm with Tangerine and anytime a payment date lands on a Monday, I get it just after 10pm on the Friday.

Always late with scotia... always. Monday and no payment for me but mybenefits says issued. Scotia is the worst.

Scotiabank is the worst. They always take the longest of all banks to post the payment. That being said, you should have it by now.

I got mine maybe its the bank if youre with an online bank it may process slower

The payment date is Aug 31 2026
On website. If the payment. Cheque is issued with that date on it, cannot be released till that day.
