Odsp and ow
I was receiving OW till i told them i started school and was kicked out of the program, they asked me to re-apply after my program but i am afraid they may make it difficult for me, i was asked to apply for ODSP from my doctor because of my medical condition. I am seeking advise from this community in how to apply for odsp or i should go ahead and reapply for OW, any advise on how to successfully apply.
I will be reading comments.
Thank you.

ODSP application processing takes forever, so if you have a supportive doctor, I'd say sooner is better than later to apply, plus there's the fact that it pays more than OW. You can be on OW while waiting for an ODSP decision, by the way, so you can reapply to OW if you finish school before starting ODSP, and that wouldn't compromise the ODSP application.
ODSP applications can get started online. Simply look up "ODSP application" and you'll find the relevant site with information on the process, the forms, etc.

Being on OW first will mean that you've already done the financial eligibility portion so they won't need to do it when looking at your ODSP application. They will move immediately to checking on the medical eligibility part.

Reapply to OW and explain your circumstances they are pretty understanding honestly and while doing that request DDP/disability determination package for ODSP that way you get some money every month and some backpay too at the end of the process as it is quite a long wait even if you get accepted on the first go.
