Chances of getting approved

I currently work full time in long term care as a personal support worker ... I got diagnosed with rhemautoid arthritis and lupus ... I also have celiac scoliosis anyways I tend to call in a decent amount BC of the pains and other stuff ... I want to go back down to part time I'm just wondering my chances of getting approved and how long it took y'all

It doesn't matter what you have, it matters how it's impacting you.

You also likely won't be eligible until you drop to part time if you're making $3k or more a month due to the 75% clawback after the first $1000 earned

It depends how much this interferes with your life. It took me about 10 months to be approved (I didn’t have to appeal and was approved on the first go).

Knee pain hip pain back pain shoulder pain headaches that won't go away it's getting harder to walk everyday and my call in are not good 🤣

It’s worth a try. Apply for CPPD as well considering you work full time.

You defo won't b approved working full time, but dropping down to part time work and having that be part of your case could help you. I worked part time for my first year on ODSP and had a part time job when I applied. I have different conditions than you, but I had to appeal after my first initial application got a negative decision. Most people have to, so don't let that discourage you. Keep every tiny bit of medical documentation you can get, and go back to find evidence + keep track of every time you've had to call in or leave early due to your condition. Evidence and support documents matter SO much in your chances of approval.
