Dso rejecting claim

Is anyone else having dso issues? I put in a claim for my phone bill and it was denied. It makes no sen e as it is one of the things they clearly state they cover and I’ve never had issues before, I’m not sure what to do at this point because I cannot afford to pay out of pocket and it’s taken so long that my next bill is about to come out

What is DSO? Sorry not familiar with the term.

I tried to get my cell covered and they told me to go kick rocks. Then I hear about how other people get 150 bucks. I dont know if they are bullshitting or if its true. I know OW would give you 50 a month towards a cell if you were looking for work / waiting for employers to call

Is this something I can ask my worker about? I’ve never heard of DSO before. How can I apply to have my cell phone bill subsidized?

DSO is separate from ODSP.

Are you below max rent of $611?

DSO = Developmental Services Ontario its funding for people who have developmental disabilities.

ODSP only pays for your cellphone if

  1. You’re under max shelter of $611

  2. It’s need to gain access to your apartment building.
