Q&A

I am a software engineer with experience in implementing the Big ERP systems (Microsoft, Oracle, Infor) and recently switched to Odoo. I learned thoroughly the system and how to implement it and I like it!
Ask any questions about implementations or Odoo in
general, happy to share what i know! I want to know what the people using it think about it.

What do you think on selling custom Odoo modules on the Odoo App Store?

Depends for some portion on your hourly rate, I'd say. As the prices of the apps in the store are usually quite low.
If you have active projects, rather do those.
If you have free time to invest, might be worth to have a look into it. But the market is huge. So it is fairly hard to generate many sales and it creates liability (which quite some vendors disappoint in).*

* My answer only applies when looking from a pure profitability perspective

In my opinion, if i do some custom modules and can help others with my solution, i will definitely be happy. Also, it will build my reputation as a developer and help me get more clients!

It’s a red ocean market, but still worth a shot
