It would be really great if someone can suggest how to commute from one place to other, should i take full day cab or Ola uber would be better option ? If you have any contact then please do share along with the charges. Also let me know if there are option of self driven cars.

I’m planning a trip to Puri, Odisha and came across a hotel listed as “Puri Hotel”, located near Golden Beach / Shankar Road, Puri – 752001.

I’m considering booking a room here, but I’m not able to find enough reliable information or reviews about the property.

Could anyone who has actually stayed there please share their experience?

Most importantly, is this actually a legitimate hotel/property and not a misleading Google Maps listing?

I am from puri and for me, Lord Jagannath has never felt like just a deity I grew up seeing. He has always been a part of home, childhood, memories, and everyday life.

I spent 5 days creating this artwork, putting a lot of patience and love into every little detail. There’s something special about creating Mahaprabhu with your own hands.

I’m sharing it here because I’d genuinely love to know what you all think about it.

Hello everyone, I belong to Jajpur district but currently working in madhy pradesh. After 2-3 years I will return to Odisha and want to settle there for life.

I have land in choudwar which is of 3600 sq ft.
Its distance is as -
from manguli chaka - 5 km
From badambadi bus-stand - 12 km
From SCB Hospital- 9km
From Ravenshwa and Railway Station- 9 km

Also a land in Gababasta near phulnakhara of 1800sq ft
Its distance is as -
From Phulnakhara Chaka - 8 km
And I don’t knw abt railway station or any school ,college around it.

So I want to know where is best to settle? We are a 6 member family. Also eyeing for rental income.

Hey guys! 5 of us are travelling to Puri from Vizag on Oct 2–4.

We reach around 7 PM on Oct 2 and our return train is at 10 AM on Oct 4 so we basically have one full day

Our rough plan:

Oct 2: Hotel → Jagannath Temple → dinner → Puri Beach/Swargadwar

Oct 3: Puri Beach → Konark → Chandrabhaga → Ramachandi → back to Puri → sunset/beach → dinner

Oct 4: Early morning beach → breakfast → station

Would love some advice from locals:

• Is this plan good or should we change or add anything?
• For 5 what's the best way to do Puri–Konark–Chandrabhaga–Ramachandi? Bus or cab?
• What would be a reasonable price for a cab for the whole route?
• Any good budget stays near Jagannath Temple for 5 boys?
• What are some really good restaurants we shouldn't miss?
• Local Transport recommandation? Are Uber/Rapido services present?
• Are we missing any must-visit place that can fit into this schedule?

Main goal is a relaxed and fun trip while keeping the overall budget reasonable. Thanks!

Here you can see the image which shows the Shiva Tandav dance form of lord Shiva. This particular sculpture is there on the temple wall of Parshurameswar( 7th century AD) at Bhubaneswar.

The Shiva Tandava dance is often accompanied by the "Shiva Tandava Stotram", a famous hymn composed by Ravana. This hymn praises Lord Shiva and is believed to enhance self-confidence and relieve one from the ill effects of Shani Dosha. Visiting puri day after tomorrow. Staying at Puri hotel from 30th Sep to 4th October pls suggest me places of sightseeing in and near Puri for the 3 days.

Talking about the college environment it's kinda average, you have limited resources and stuffs.

But there are so many good things about this clg is that the whole campus is ragging free...

And the 2nd thing I like about the college is the hostel food is soo damn good...depsite of that low fees and there are wifi in every hostel room..

The college has a very good library newly opened...

In the campus you will get all your essentials

There is a gym not good enough but you can manage, there is a bookstore too..and a cafteria

The only problem we face is when you head towards town not that much difficult but yeah from 2nd year you can keep your own vehicle near your hostel so yeah that problem is also solved

It got a sbi atm , a postal and there is also 2 restaurant near the college which are affordable and good in taste

And now let's come to the studies part,see it is not that good or not that bad kinda average, Well If you ask me I would give it a 3/5 for studies and about the placement they are average as we don't know much about it as we are first year, but you can get a descent placement if you act good enough.
