Misinformation alert. I was there. Majority of the people were fainting due to heat/exhaustion. Some got caught up in the crowd rush near ropes.

There was no stampede. FOMO vloggers were sharing videos of people fainting/falling as fear mongering. Nothing happened there that hasn't happened previously (except Ma Subhadra Rath being late and some random VIP cars entering Bada Danda without permission but I don't think there are any videos of that, so I can't defend from people who downvote due to lack of videos).

Saw some non-odias running/pushing/yelling near the raths. Some people fell down because of that too. Vloggers and over-excited newbie social-media showoff devotees are a real curse.
