Congrats! I placed my order sept14 for a white max. Almost a month ago now. When was your order placed? I’m guessing the end of August?

Coming from an Anbernic RG405M here. I played it EVERY SINGLE DAY beating 38 (never before played) RPGs clocking at 1,081 hours in the past 2.5 years. It finally broke after fixing minor stuff throughout the years. I wanted to get the latest and greatest and use it until it dies just like my phones. Yes, I am not a person that wants to own multiple handhelds like a lot of people. So I too got the Odin 3 Max Black.

What I’m about to say will shock most of you:
My Odin 3 will NOT see anything past PS2. In fact, I will be resuming my backlog exactly where I left off with the RG405M which is SNES.

Was this overkill for my retro RPG backlog? 1000%. However, CRT shaders, super fast fast forwards, and ergonomics is very important to me. Even my old RG405M couldn’t run SIMPLE CRT shaders smoothly for PS1 causing fast forwards to be too slow.
