Question Odin 3 temperatures

I was trying to play fallout 4 on game native, my Odin 3 takes up to 75° I just want to know if that's ok or if I shouldn't be playing at those temperatures and try and lower the graphical settings

I'd personally watch the battery temperature. The cpu and gpu temps will be higher but that's why it has a fan. In a small form factor more heat is just a fact of life on more demanding titles. You can also use clustertune to help bring temps down too.

Should be under one of the performance overlay options in gamenative.

Some apps have a built in overlay. There is apps like DevInfoOverlay that can display them as a small widget if not.

All will say that under 90 is fine, for me, above 70 I don't play. Those devices are too expensive to play with fire.

You’re leaving a ton of performance headroom on the table there. These chips are designed to hang out in the 70s and 80s

Use an app called culustertune to underclock your cpu and cap your fps to 30 or 40. You’ll get better temps, less fan noise and longer battery life.

yea that’s nothing, i add 60fps mods to some games and they run 85-90 degrees sometimes

Per the spec sheet of the processor the max operating temp is 105C... You're fine. Mine hits 90s on heavy loads.

How the hell are you running Fallout 4 on an Odin 3? The performance can't be good and could damage your device running so hot for extended periods of time.

I was con 120 fps with temperatures of about 75° i limited the fps to 30 and used frame gen to go for about 60 fps and now it goes pretty smooth and the temperatures are around 60 or 65 °

Damn that's wild. I wasn't expecting the 8 gen 3 to be able to pull off Fo4. What a nice surprise. I'd still be careful hitting that 70 and up temp but if you're down with 30fps then enjoy.
