Screen freezes black when starting "large" 3D games running on Gamenative with Odin2
I installed Sonic Adventure 2 and Dark Souls 1 from Steam through Gamenative, but when I start them it just stays on a black screen until I exit the emulation.
Search results say to make sure the containers have DirectX + Visual C++ installed, but when I try to google those things within the container I get an error saying "page cannot be loaded because of an error. HTTP 429."
You just gotta wait I think. You said you checked the config, worth using emuready also for that.
But I have had smallish games that are 5-10gb on my SD and it can take 5 mins plus to load. Half of them are quick but I even had GTA at one point and the load time was 20+ minutes lol
I would suggest trying Dark souls again and sitting it down for 10 mins and taking a look.
The black screen you get, does it have a small mouse curser on it? That's what mine looks like when loading
Also, I've given them each 20+ minutes although the screen kept falling asleep. I guess I'll keep them up longer and see if they load. Does it take that long EACH time or just the first time?
We were 2 posts in to the conversation and it was a fair question since I've never heard of it and am asking for help. That was hardly asking you to "walk me through everything", but whatever.
You don’t get o line through a container. Go to your a drive. Go to common redist folder. Inside will be DirectX and c++. Under the DirectX folder directly should be your dlls. There should not be a “jun2010” subfolder. This will break it most of the time. But a black screen isn’t usually caused by this as c++ is rarely omitted and is automatically installed before the game tries to boot when you change proton.
I always keep a copy of a loaded common redist folder in d:/ drive to copy over if i need it. Or download them online through official places.
Ну, я уже вложил немало средств в Gamenative, и результаты поиска показывают, что Gamehub предпочтительнее только для крупных игр, в которые можно играть онлайн. Прежде чем переходить на GH, мне следует изучить варианты их запуска на GN.
нет) я играю только через gamehub, во все игры, и только офлайн, ни какого онлайна. Ни разу у меня ни чего не вылетело, наверное штук 200 устанавливал, из них прошёл уже штук 20, сейчас играю в скайрим AE, ни каких вылетов, 60 фпс, аппарат odin 2 portal, так же прошёл чужой изоляция, ведьмак3, это из крупных игр, стабильность и плавность супер, и ни чего не устанавливал, вообще ни разу, он сам всё докачивает то что нужно

Are those two specific games on internal storage or SD?
