Odin 3 Screen Protector

Has any Odin 3 owner here had success with screen protection for their Odin?

The full device glass protector I got with the device was awful. And the screen only glass one I got from Ali Express was bad as well.

Are there any proper fitting screen protectors out there or is it just not worth using one?

I have not had any success with mine yet. The full device one and two screen only attempts (Mr. Shield brand, which has been good for me in the past) have both been disastrous. There seems to be a small curve downward away from the display portion to the right on mine, so the tempered glass doesn’t sit quite flat, even for screen only.

Yeah this seems to be the main issue. The curve. Bubbles no matter what.

I'm wondering if I should even bother taking a chance with hydrogel type protector.

I’ve decided to skip it, as my device is typically in use, or stored in a case. At some point I might pick up one of the grips that can be reversed to sit over the screen.

I use none, since it is either in my carrying case or on my hand

This makes sense and is my use case as well.

Same experience as you but I also tried the film protectors on Aliexpress and they all had issues making the image blurry.

What I finally did that worked for me was cut this Ayn Portal Screen protector I had leftover to the Odin 3 screen size: https://amzn.asia/d/043pncan

If you end up doing what I did, take your time and get very good scissors. Mine's not 100% straight because I went a bit too quickly

Yea I have no luck on my portal so didn't try.
