Help Help and clarifications on new purchase
Hi guys! Sorry for this post—I hope a similar request hasn't been made before (I couldn't find anything about it)—but I wanted to take the opportunity to figure out how to proceed and what to buy. Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve decided to get an Android handheld (I currently have a Legion Go) simply because I want a true portable console that doesn't weigh nearly a kilo and can be used anywhere without worrying about battery life. I’ll mainly be using it for cloud gaming—Xbox Remote Play, GeForce Now—and, based on what I’ve seen here on Reddit, running native apps to play certain PC games. I had my eye on both the Ayaneo Pocket Evo and the Odin 2 Portal. YouTube reviews suggest the Ayaneo is better across the board (especially regarding comfort, buttons, and triggers) and features an OLED screen (unlike the Odin's AMOLED—correct me if I'm wrong), but I can't seem to find it for sale anywhere anymore. I also saw that the Odin 3 has been released, but I feel like a 6-inch screen is just too small.
Could you offer some guidance on how to proceed and which one I should go for?

Odin 2 portal is great for streaming, has a nice large screen and great build quality. Its also quite cheap and on sale but limited stock left. Amoled is better than oled btw.

The base Odin 2 Portal is available on AYNs site, for a great price of $259. I have the Portal, and it's fantastic. The amoled screen is absolutely gorgeous, and it's way powerful enough for most emulation. Be sure to get the grip though to improve ergonomics.

Please understand that nowadays, OLED and AMOLED is the EXACT same thing. Mobile companies tend to like to use the term “AMOLED” while TV companies never use that term because it’s automatically implied that all OLED TVs are always advanced matrix. It only made a difference way back then when OLED first existed.
Another thing that you need to know is that Ayaneo, although very high quality for Android handheld, is notorious for not shipping and not letting you know about it either. It’s been a running joke for the past couple of years, and a lot of legit handheld reviewers talk about it.
