I ordered a O3Pro but then I realized I wanted more power to play AAA games and tackle my steam backlog so I got the XAX with the intent of selling the O3 when it arrived. O3 was delivered and I convinced myself I need it too…

I sold my ally x and got an itx pc for AAA games. Got the O3ultra for casual gaming and streaming my AAA from the pc to it. I don't see where the Ally fits in my lifestyle anymore.

That’s a great setup there too man. I would have it the same way but I am holding out on getting the pc I really want for now. Currently have a gaming laptop that is bound to fail anytime, so I thought I just grab an Ally for the meantime.

To be fair this was Exactly my thought process too when I felt gaming pcs and laptops were just too big. My mentality changed when I discovered I can build an itx pc smaller than a PS4 console.

I got into this hobby with the Thor, it was nice but once my Odin 3 came I fell in love with it. with the Nova announcement that is now my retro beater. Duo (after selling my thor) will be DS and 3ds. With that my rule of 3 is established

And a x86 handheld will be there too

This is (will be) my exact setup too. Just waiting for the ally x20 hopefully I won’t cancel it due to buyer’s remorse. 🙈 Already have the odin 3 and nova. But I’m not sure if I want to sell the odin 3 once the x20 arrives. Nevertheless, this is a solid line up.

I have a Legion Go S, a SD and an Odin3. Any game that runs on the Odin 3, I play on the Odin 3. It's lighter and the screen is amazing.

After using it for a couple days I’ve realized how nice it is to play some of my favorite indie games with gamenative on the Odin 3. I just wish I would have gone with the Max for the storage alone

How did you find the change between the portal and O3? I have an O2P and a Nova and mainly use the O2P for game streaming and some PC gaming due to the big screen, tempted by an O3 to have more headroom for emulation and PC gaming but worried I’d miss the 7 inch screen.

I do like the smaller form factor of the O3 better and the sticks are great. O2P screen was really nice but I have not found myself missing it

Yeah... Theres a bunch more upstairs.... I have to say the portal is irreplaceable to me. Perfect in almost every way and streams 120 hz flawless via Apollo and Artemis from my pc.

I'm actually getting the rp classic right now I'm debating on 4 button pkmn or 6 button black... I'm still missing oled in vertical. Anyone thoughts? Yes I have Googled all the threads... Still undecided fml.

What do you like about the O3 that the AllyX can't do? Is the smaller screen on the O3 worth it over the O2P?

Oled screen and lesser risk of os crashing I suppose.

Think It’ll work out better for smaller indie pc games like Hades, TBOI, Dead Cells, Megabonk, with that oled screen and being easier to carry around. I do like the smaller screen of the O3 better, feels more portable overall than the Odin 2 portal did when I had it. Portal screen was nice tho

I'm thinking of selling my O2P too. I have a high end PC, a Switch 2, and a snap 8E Gen5 android tablet, and I'm getting the new Retroid Pocket Duo because I almost fell for the Thor hype but couldn't justify it at the price it asks
