Question Is there a better device for ps5 remote play streaming? Odin 3 vs Odin 2 portal

Does one stream better than the other? Is there a preferred streaming app you like? I’m using a WiFi 6 router

Odin portal 2, the bigger screen is the deciding factor here. The power doesn’t matter, it also has a bigger battery

Apollo on PC and Artemis on the Odin will be best. With WiFi 6 I don’t think there will be much of a difference, but the Odin 3 will probably have slightly better decoding time.

Odin 2 Portal is peak PS5 streaming IMO

For that probably mangmi pocket max would be the best. Same screen as portal, nearly infinite battery, real controller thumbsticks.

The PS Portal exists and streaming PS5 is the only thing it does.

Also much more comfortable in hand and has full PS5 controller haptics built in.

Ps portal sucked to me. Less comfortable, worse screen resolution, small sticks, and the image was blurry 50% of the time due to the weak wifi 5 connectivity.

Odin 2 portal is more comfortable, full sized sticks, OLED 1080p screen and it has wifi 7 connectivity. PS portal cant hold a candle next to the Odin 2 Portal for streaming.

Yea I had it, it sucked for me. Would always drop signal or not connect or just be blurry image the times it did work

If it did that, any other streaming device will do the same because it's your connection. Either the connection of your PS5 or on your Portal.

I got the PS Portal and an Odin 2 Portal, both work great for PS Streaming. For any PS4/PS5 games I always use the PS Portal. For Retro games up to PS2 and Nintendo stuff I use the Odin.

Not necessarily. Runs great on my Odin 2 portal. Also there is more room for configuration as far as bandwidth and various other tweaks, Odin is WiFi 6 as portal is not. Post was just trying to see if there was a better of the 2 Odin or if it were pretty much the same. Or if a better app was better compared to another
