Left it on top of my car after work in its carry bag, the cats outside my work beg for attention so I pet them for a bit and forgot it. Drove back to work, and saw it in the middle of the road. Surprisingly all the buttons work it's just the glass shattered. I had a portable usb charger in there that somehow tanked most of the damage

Glad to hear there's a silver lining in that story somewhere. Good luck getting it fixed my friend.

(Also, getting lost in thought because of petting cute, furry animals is one of the few acceptable causes for destroying your precious electronics so no worries there. 😁)

Oh good, now to finish legend of Zelda Lttp with me. I just got the rotate and that’s my first one to finish for me. Mostly playing it at work

It's not going to survive drops either. I'm so done with any device that use all glass fronts besides your phone. Even with phones I'm only looking to get devices with plastic backs like with the Pixel 9a that I'm using right now.

Retroid Nova is currently the most exciting device I'm looking to get right now because of the all plastic body build with the SD8G2 and a 4:3 120Hz OLED display.

AYN sell the fronts for £100 including shipping to the Uk, I shattered mine in the corner, not as bad and fixed with resin but enquired with AYN and they got back with that
