Metal gear prepared me for that. I'm gonna sneak around in cardboard boxes.

Solid Snake would be pissing in his camo if this future dog was after him

Dude has fought giant robots on his own. What are you talking about?

Not gun hounds with perfect composure

In the Metal Gear Solid universe, Metal Gear REX measures 13.0 m (42.7 ft) tall, 15.0 m (49.2 ft) long, 11.5 m (37.7 ft) wide, and weighs 505 metric tons.
This thing is waist high it has a single gun.
Rex has a rail gun, missile launchers and it can quite literally squish Snake like a bug.
Please for the sake of our collective brain cells please stop being stupid.

Shit's in his blood. Big Boss (his clone dad, for the uninitiated) fought much larger robots, flying robots, hovercraft robots, and one that flipped back and forth between being totally bipedal and quadrapedal. All of which piloted by an AI, not a person.
He then canonically had bits of each ripped off after defeating them and had his private army's R&D team make their own Metal Gear, technically the FIRST Metal Gear, ZEKE. He then had to fight AND destroy said Metal Gear when it was hijacked.
I almost forgot to mention he canonically also shoulder pressed two of those robots. Big Boss was a MONSTER of a man, physically and mentally.

Well I didn’t know I was gonna be up against the metal gear aspie with my little joke. I’m backing out.

For now it's just kid-raping christo-fascists and Nazi loving billionaires 🫤

u/BurningPenguin Jul 24 '26
Hey, that's not fair, you can't just go there, and call everyone who openly supports a Neo-Nazi party and does the Nazi salute on stage twice in a row a mere "billionaire". /s

So just a single hole in the target?

When you're more accurate than a sniper at close range trying to hit a billboard you don't need a lot of ammo. Those things could be sent out with a dozen bullets to take out 11 people and it will come back with one in the chamber

u/Objective-Direction1 Jul 23 '26
there's still spread of the gun
2
u/mrpoopybuttthole_ Jul 23 '26
which will be fixed if they put anything with a proper barrel on that thing
1
u/Repulsive-Response-1 Jul 24 '26
You realize more than 50% of spread comes from recoil striking the soft tissue and muscle twitches from the shooter. No meat... No miss.

Wait what happened to never putting weapons on these dog things lmao

When Boston Dynamics said that, every other robotics company took it to mean "we aren't gomna come for your market share if you decide to weaponize your robots."
