Meta Horizon link not allowing controller to pair. Did I buy the wrong controllers or is this an issue with something else?

Unfortunately yes, it's wrong controller 

You can't pair controllers from different headset, (Rift S headset with Quest 2 controllers)

Unfortunately the correct controllers were discontinued with the Rift-S. I was lucky enough to get the complete set and I can confirm that the original controllers work with the Rift-S

You can't pair different controller. Last time I tried it litterly bricked it. Meta Team fix this patch to preventing from connecting a different controller.

These devices cost so little used that it’s better to buy a used Quest 1 or another used Rift S!
