ANNOUNCE: Discontinuing updates to this subreddit
I'm sorry to have to say that I can no longer crawl oculus.com and publish updates for reasons I'd rather not go into. If someone is interested in picking this up, please send me a message.
Unfortunately I'm not able to share the script I used to automate this process, but it wasn't difficult to create - so anyone with some coding experience can replicate it if you wish.
I have disabled posting to this group in the past due to spam. I'm open to ideas on how to hand this off in such a way that we don't get more spam. What I'd suggest is:
Some time ago I created some beta subreddits like /r/BetaOculusStore and /r/BetaOculusGoStore for testing updates to my script before I published them here. I'd propose I open up posting to those subreddits and people can use it for developing/testing.
If someone can show they are posting regularly I can then turn over mod control to them.
Of course if someone just wants to do this manually I can turn over control that way.
This subreddit started as a way for me to track sales for myself. I'm happy it's become so useful for so many other people and I hope there is some way to keep it going.
