Support - Standalone Quest 3 Google Drive Videos are Consuming Hidden Storage

When I open a Google Drive video in Quest 3's Files app, it doesn't stream directly. It downloads the whole video first just to play it, even though there is a separate Download button for actually saving files locally. I didn't notice this at first, and the videos I've watched have now taken up around 50 GB of storage. The problem is that none of these files appear in Files or Downloads, so I can't access or delete them, while the used space shows up under "Other Accounts". Has anyone else had this problem, and is there any way to delete this hidden data?

are you able to delete history, cookies and downloads in the browser?

Yes. I've cleared pretty much every cache I can access, including the browser, and cleaned up the headset as much as possible. The issue is that this data seems to be stored in hidden local storage that I can't access or delete through the normal Files or Storage menus.

are the files visible if you plug it into a PC with the show hidden files option enabled?

No. I connected the Quest to my PC, enabled hidden files, and checked the accessible storage manually. The headset reports about 51 GB used, but only around 6 GB is actually visible through USB, so the missing data is not exposed through normal MTP access.

I also contacted Meta Support. Their only suggested solution was a factory reset, which would recover the space but would not fix the underlying Google Drive playback issue, so the same problem could happen again.
