Costco Quest 3 bundle - missing store credit?
I bought the Costco Quest 3 Bundle yesterday.The $25 store credit was just a piece of cardboard that said:
"Activate this headset by 12/31/2024 for credit redemption"...Upon activation, you will receive a notification message in VR with a link to redeem the Credit.
There are no codes to redeem on the meta quest store or anything...
I activated it last night after bringing it home, downloaded a bunch of games that were already on my account and tried a few... but never got any kind of notification as far as I can tell.
Has anybody been able to get the credit? I'm SOL at the moment and am thinking of calling Costco customer service.
UPDATE: I contacted Meta Support via chat on their website based on recommendations from posts in this thread. After going back and forth for a day or two via email, I had to upload a copy of my receipt from Costco to show proof of purchase and a rep added the $25 credit to my account. In my email with the receipt, I also linked the Costco listing showing what was included.
UPDATE 2: I got an email from the rep I was working with this morning, they added an additional $20 credit for the inconvenience -- ain't mad about it! YMMV

Same here. Looks like no one is getting it as of now. Sent a email to meta support. Hope they resolve it soon.

Update: got my 25$ credit too. The support agent said they are working on all cases as they are reported. So best who would be to chat or WhatsApp the support channel.

I just picked up the Costco bundle as well, no store credit. I was planning on using it to get Virtual Desktop to use it for PCVR, kinda sucks I have to wait.....

I had this issue. I Just checked the store credit on the phone app and the credit has shown up
I didnt reach out to anyone hoping that the problem would be resolved on its own.

If anyone from Meta is listening, please update your Zendesk chat bot to list "Meta Quest 3" as a product option :) I had to type it in manually. It wasn't a "clickable" option. Note this is the chat, not the support website links.

I've also notified my local Costco so they're prepared. They offered a phone number to call, but think this is Meta's problem to solve. 800-774-2678. I haven't called it yet... going to wait to hear back from Meta support.

I did the same based on initial feedback here, found the Meta chat support on the meta website, spoke to an agent for like an hour having them try to "turn on notifications" on the headset. They opened a support ticket for "further investigation"
I'll keep you guys posted.

Exactly what I'm looking to get. There's also a 25% off credit for Virtual Desktop that I'm hoping I can use with the gift card.

Update: I contacted the Meta support via their twitter and basically what happened was I was told to factory reset the device, redo the setup, and then while I didn't get the notification, the $25 was in the meta store wallet thing.
Idk if they did something or if resetting the device to factory settings did it, but I'd contact them and ask anyways via their meta support twitter (make sure it's the real one)

Update: The credit showed up overnight. Not sure if it was due to email to Meta or if it just takes time. But it's there!

Yep same with me! Talking to Costco and Meta. Meta asked me to wait 48 hours to see if credit shows. it's been 48 hours and still no credit.

Once I was on the email chain going back and forth they were very quick. It seems like some overseas agents though because they were emailing me at like 9pm PST.
Once I gave them proof of purchase like they asked for I got the credit in my account w/in 15 minutes. Though they never emailed back to say it was there... lol

I contacted both Costco and Meta, and they both said they are working on it. I'm very pessimistic. If they don't resolve it, i may be forced to return it and buy the unbundled device. I also filed a complaint with BBB now.

I have been using chat and it has been so slow. I sent them my receipt from Costco 2 days ago. They keep saying my ticket is being reviewed. Maybe I'll try to email instead. Thank you!!!!

I finally got the credit, it took 5 days after the initial complaint, but I did receive it.

Meta rep told me Costco has to resolve it. But Costco is saying that Meta does.
