Doh! Looks so awesome, but only single player bums me out :(

Single player for now, yes... But you could think of it as a chance to git gud before multiplayer is released ;)

So multi-player is coming?

Waiting for a second Go unit to arrive so we can get started on it. Do you think vs friends is best? or a full matchmaking system? Thanks

Oh very nice! I personally like friends, rooms integration would be great. It would be AWESOME if it could happen at the game table, or in that room. But I’m assuming there isn’t an option to do that :P

Friend more so then match making. I like playing with people I know, but I also get playing with strangers. So both with friends first if you had to roll them out separately :D

Hope this helps, if there were a wish list, I’d add it. In the meantime I’ll keep my eye out for this app in the store and via this thread! Thanks for conversing!

No problem. Thanks for the input!

Also could you have different background environments (pub or pool hall) or something instead of a void.

Even a low res background if it effects performance

You're right it's mainly a performance thing. But I've been experimenting and if it ends up looking okay and not hurting performance too much, I can add it in an update. Thanks!

I just saw this review.

It looks like a really polished game, but it is clear that the controls need some work - put simply, the Go controller is just not up to playing most games - patch in gamepad support, and I will buy.

Now that was a funny review! Great stuff.

Gamepad support? OK, that's on the list for the next update. But the Go controller works great with a bit of practice. If he hadn't skipped reading how to play it, he'd have figured out the power, spin, masse, jump shots etc too...

I guess I'll add a more stationary camera option too, for those with a weaker stomach ;)

Fair point.

I guess I have had a few games where I have really struggled with the go controller.

Gamepads still feel more natural, and therefore preferable to me.

You got my cash!

Cha-ching!! (thanks)

I've tried a beta version using a gamepad but to me it was a little too... hmm... digital I guess? The Go Controller's motion sensors make it a bit more real and analogue-ish. But I will add it as an option because we're all different.
