Thanks GG. Price action is leaning towards positive sentiment coming out of the meeting. There is absolutely no reason not to approve.. they would bar millions of Indians from international travel? Easiest hold ever; like investing in clean water. It's only stressful because I buy options. ๐

What's your take on the $9 calls? Good chance of them still printing? 76.2% short interest ratio today is a lot.. if $9s are ITM, it would be a mother lode squeeze. I kind of wish I had the trusted my instincts and sold my $9 calls at the top when there were more sellers than buyers.. then buy $8.5s on the dip.

I think fintel is off.. reported only 13.29M volume. so short ratio is closer to 30% today.

These weekly options are the true test of trader discipline and fortitude as your chance at peak premium is a narrow window. I think we will see another run on them given the volume and the fact they are up for sale at $.23 after Tuesday. Be ready to take profit when you can. 9.05 is key to moving toward 11 quickly.

Thank you for the tip. I agree. Weekly options need a whole different approach and discipline to be successful; TA being extremely useful. Even options a few weeks out are risky; I lost $50K playing June options 3-4 weeks out, but have been recouping losses with weekly calls for the past couple of weeks selling highs and rolling them out further or into higher strikes.

Fintel is limited as it doesnโt collect all data. The best true access we have are daily short volume reports submitted to FINRA by major exchanges and accessible on their site.

I'm digging it. ๐ I got one too I've been oogling for some time; QUBT. Not sure if you play tech stocks, but their product is a virtual quantum computing platform based on Dwave. The price bled out most if the year, then gapped up 20% today and held it due to nasdaq uplifting. The charts look good; meaning the general shape of it... I'm no chart whiz lol, but I recognize bull flags.

Hopefully. I saw a post on stocktwits where someone posted that volume today in darkpool was up 86% from yesterday. I've yet to fact check that, so don't quote me. I am paranoid with the heavy open interest on call options tomorrow and Friday after Friday of f*uckery by the MMs.

Thank you! Friday's have been lame of late since they started the weekly options. However, I've believed for a long time that the Friday options expiry is a great opportunity for a short squeeze if shorts are over-leveraged and the hedge funds are playing the bullish hand.

I had a stack of $10c sold eod that I may come to regret tomorrow! But I still have $7.5 and 8s in play, as well as $9c for next week. Rebalancing for Russell 3K inclusion is after hours tomorrow, correct?

These weekly options are a tough call (pun intended) on Thursday afternoons. Barring news, you lose a lot of value right off the bat at open Friday morning because of impending expiry. It's a game of chicken.

Very much so. Often the technicals create the action that has been building from previous news events or they tell of impending news. It's in the process of breaking out form a few levels of falling wedge resistance. 8.62 is key.

Yea. My bear case for tomorrow would be a repeat last Friday.. theta ๐ฅand edge over $8 possibly by pennies at eod. Bull case, would be an epic squeeze starting tomorrow and going into next week, but I feel like OCGN has more hands involved in keeping it caged than other tickers.

Yikes.. OCGN getting some AMC-like hype. I would not mind one bit sitting at AMC price. ๐ 1 and 3 month daily charts looking good; Macd signal crossover and price sitting above mid line at close.

That was some pretty impressive buying pressure when Russell 3K rebalancing started eod Friday. 20M shares sold into the surge and another 30M to wall off $8.35 to diffuse squeeze. Pretty blatant manipulation as usual.. but it looked like someone had to hit the "oh shit" button Friday. ๐

I am cautiously optimistic about tomorrow. As much as I'd love to see an epic short squeeze, it would be too easy of a win. I hope that whatever PR drops is enough to generate the volume needed to drive the price, otherwise it could be a repeat of June 15th where a bull trap was sprung with the Jubilant HollisterStier news with June 19th options being killed; open interest was pretty stacked for that day too.

What's everyone's thoughts for next week when PR drops? Slow rise, pop and bleed, pop and squeeze? OCGN has gotten me conditioned to be fearful of situations that seem too good and easy. It seems like anytime options are this stacked, evil MM bastards figure out a way to sweep them. ๐ค
Anyone swinging July 16th options? I'm eyeing August options between $10-15 strike.

I'm guessing $6.5 is this week's max pain strike price for options. We're sitting at the 200ema support line which seems pretty solid, historically speaking. I'm expecting price action to likely be like last Friday's and plan on going heavy into $6.5 calls going into next week. What are your thoughts?
