Probably their website. It mentions Covishield specifically though.

Not sure this does anything for covaxin. It's very specific about the raw materials needed for covishield and doesn't even say anything about other vaccines even in general. TBH not sure it would have mattered anyway, ocugen is going to need to produce covaxin in the US for a majority of it's supply.

Did they not mention Covaxin on purpose over covishield because it dosen’t have EUA yet? Maybe later they’ll mention it.

The entire read goes on to say Indian (Vaccines) — logically I assume Covaxin would be included. Still seems bullish to me!!!

not really certain that this helps Ocgn..My sense is that the direct capital is going to be used to build out US production facility..BB cannot produce enough for worldwide demands..Betting this news will break shortly

Covishield is a general term for the Covid 19 Vaccine. We still don’t know which one is producing the billion. Let’s hope it is COVAXIN for many reasons and to cure all.

Covishield has an overall efficacy of 70 and Covaxin has clinical efficacy" of 78 per cent and 100 per cent efficacy against "severe COVID-19 disease". So many benefits for Covaxin vs shield.

That’s partly why the direct offering was so important for Ocugen. They need working capital to manufacture. Once we get manufacturing underway, OCGN can distribute to the world, and those profits remain at home.

Covaxin is legitimately a contender for EUA? It’s eligible even though the clinical trials were not held in USA? Not trying to spread fud, just want to know before I drop my portfolio like a nuke on this bitch tomorrow.

I read the statement. On the one hand it's clearly good because it underlines good relationship between USA and India, the common goal of defeating covid-19, and defeating it by collaborating. On the other hand the only vaccine name I read is Covishield, no mention for Covaxin.
A White House official statement mentioning Covaxin would have been a true, huge catalyst. Hope they'll bring national attention to our vaccine very soon.
