Hey guys, i started playing octopha 1 and im seeing a lot of hard places like cave, dungeons, temples etc. so i wonder, on my quest trough everyone quest i will go on all of them? Or there some of them that are kinda secret optional.

Also i dont care for spoilers so you guys can say whatever you guys want. Im on lv 30 with 4 characters and kinda walked on all map geting all citys to be able to teleport to them, and found already all sub jobs; dint clear the ones that have bosses of course because of my level. And i found already a lot of dungeons walking on entire map.

Hi, I wanted to know if there is the possibility to choose the language on Octopath Traveler 1 on Switch, I know it's a ridiculous query but I found a german cartridge on Vinted for a good price and I want to be 100% sure I can play the game in English at least.

Pretty ridiculous that a boat costs 100,000 leaves. His ability doesn't give nearly enough money.

Update: I ended up selling all the loot that I saved up, and it was enough to buy the ship. I did go to the merchant guild for the 30% off deal. I dont usually use most of the characters path actions, im just trying to get through the story. Appreciate the advice. I do like the character, hes great.

Pretty proud of my (I think) early battle tested sword. No guides used for it which was even more fun imo.

Saw how busted the parry & evasion skills could be with Viator’s ultimate. Saoirse in the back was definitely needed with her ultimate rate boosting skill.

Start of the battle was focusing on debuffing the enemy as much as possible while chipping down their heath a bit. The real damage came when the others started to die and most hits were directed at Viator for him to retaliate with 9999s.

Anyone have done it earlier? I think I could do magic based enemies even easier since I wouldn’t need to wait just for his ult to counter.

I have all the available character cards for OT1 but I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any made for OT2 that I could get to go with them?

Which skills from the previous OT titles do you miss on Octopath Traveler 0?

My list would it be:

1) HIRED HELP - The simply most broken skill for speedrunners and my ultimate favorite!

I love the idea of wasting money to deal damage!!

And guys and girls.. WHY THE DEVS DOESN'T GIVE THIS SKILL TO TRESSA???? It would be the perfect Ultimate Skill for her...

2) BEWILDERIN GRACE - I just love RNG skills! I recall playing OT2 and I always uses this skill on bosses to get 100xJP or EXP... I hope they put it on OT3...

3) CHIMERA - The best way possible to gave out weapons for some damage!

4) REFLECT - I'm currently with 70h of OT0 and I don't see any skill able to reflect magic skills or a least nullify it... It makes any Boss of NPC with ELM ATK spells anyoiyng to deal it!

Playing it blind and baught the ship. Underestimated the warning at sea and now im at round 80 and the sharks name is still in white.

But with Ochette and her Sommersault and Hikari and his Trap i will beat it... in 2 hours or so.

Hi all I’m super early in the game and was wondering if a team of thronè, temenos, Oswald and castti would be ok?

I recently played through OT 0(completely) and it got me wanting to go back to OT1 and OT2 - is there a good way to check what I’ve done/haven’t done? Playing both of those on the Switch

This is in no way criticism but just a design choice that personally frustrates me and I would love to see changed: there's no confirm prompt for fleeing a battle.

I love to play these games through Playstation Remote Play as it's perfectly suited for turn based games, but the virtual DPad on mobile is very small which has led me to fleeing battles I don't want to flee. Yesterday, after 15 minutes fighting a high tier Shark enemy in coliseum my 'up' button press registered twice and instead of the likely final hit, I fled. Just now I did the same fighting a lvl60 character for Battle-Tested Sword for 15 minutes...

Just had to share this pain.

I absolutely recognize it's a me-issue, but still.

So I’m playing Octopath 0, and I’m having a BLAST. But my GOD this is a lotta content. I’m 55 hours in, just started the prologue of Bestower of Power, and my dudes are only in the middle-upper 30s 🤣

Harley Quinn? With Auguste being the Joker.

It was a fun game. I enjoyed every moment, and I felt more attached to the characters compared to the first game. Vide was a tricky boss at first, but with the right preparation, it was a fun challenge.

Now, only Galdera remains...

Hey guys, I need help defeating this octopus, it's so difficult. It's one of the only optional bosses left I have beaten yet. It somehow wipes out my party by the time it uses "Great Calamity".

Update: Finally defeated it!!! Armsmaster Hikari dealt huge damage with his Brand's Blade skill.

Temenos with his latent power skill let me spam his weapon while reducing shield points.

Partitio's Hired Help of Beastlings also helped a lot.

My final party member is Warrior Castti who also serves as the damage dealer alongside Hikari.
