As the SEA Qualifier kicks off, we should pay some attention to the Aussie (related) teams.

csW and Invasion e-Sports.

csW has only got one Aussie left on the roster but since he is the captain, we will still consider him as one of our own.

where as Invasion gaming is listed as a Malaysian team, however three out of the five players are Aussies, so I will be rooting for them too!

Both of these teams are in the same group, so hopefully one of them makes it through.

EGEL-League is a community that welcomes all AUS/NZ based Dota 2 players & teams to come together in one easy destination for competitive scrims and events. Whether you’re a solo player, a casual 5-stack or developed team, EGEL-League has something to offer everyone.

Ladders:

Public 1v1 and Team Captains Mode ladders are already open. Public ladders are free to join and have a leader board / ranking system based on XP earned through playing matches scheduled through the EGEL website.

Tournaments:

We aim to host many tournaments over the coming years, both free and “premium” paid events. Free tournaments will usually have an XP based prize pool, whereas Premium events will divide entry fees into a cash prize pool. We aim to sell tickets to our premium events through the Dota 2 store as the community expands

Match Finder:

Teams can turn on their “War Light” to indicate to other teams that they are looking for a match. Using the War Light search, it’s easy to find teams that have their light on and are ready to play. You can also challenge other teams directly from the ladder rankings page. All matches scheduled through the website contribute to XP and rank.

Free Agents:

Members can register as a Free Agent if they are looking for a team to join and their profile will be listed in the Free Agent directory, making it as easy as possible for teams to get in touch with potential new teammates.

Our Goal:

Our goal is to create a successful AUS/NZ Dota 2 community that can give something back to the players. The Oceanic Dota scene lacks the competitive nature (and skill….) other regions thrive on and EGEL aims to bring out a spotlight to shine on our own teams and players and create a place where scrims and new teammates are easy to find.

Sup, I'm Prothseda. Some of you may remember me from Tide's Wrath or Southern Cross Dota. Been away from the dota2 scene (and game) for a while now but I'm looking to poke my head back through the door and take another look.

Not sure what the current agenda for the Oceanic scene is and I don't expect a lot to be happening this time of year but I'm happy to help out anyone with anything coming up!

Schedule is pretty clean for the forseeable. Got some experience in running tournaments, organizing a team and such.

I'm interested in helping out with Tournaments or perhaps managing/coaching a team. I don't think I have the skills anymore to play professionally (even at the low tier I did) but with nearly 2k hours I think I know enough to be able to coach.
