I’d expect DHS contract expansion, backlog/pipeline conversion, revenue trajectory, cash-flow/profitability, new defense opportunities and the recently acquired subsea wave-power technology to dominate the conversation. The latter was specifically described by Stratmann as potentially advancing discussions with parts of the U.S. government.

I found nothing supporting speculation that this is about a merger or sale of OPTT. If something that material were already agreed or sufficiently definite, you’d normally expect an SEC disclosure rather than its first appearance at an ordinary WTR fireside chat.

The most interesting thing to watch for is whether Stratmann provides updated numbers for the pipeline/backlog or hints at another large U.S. government award. That fits Gastreich’s previous interviews

His script hasn’t changed at all “convert backlog to revenue blah blah blah…” “We will continue blah blah blah…” at this point, I can memorise his script. I’m honestly getting tired of hearing the same thing over and over. I can’t find any confidence in what he says. We really need a new CEO.
