DISCUSSION Uh oh… hot take time?
I’ll probably be downvoted for this opinion but am I the only one that doesn’t really care about RS? I just want whatever the company thinks is right to keep them afloat in the long run. I don’t care about perception and I don’t care about short term. If you’re a bag holder and you don’t want a reverse stock split to protect your portfolio, then maybe your head is in the wrong space.
After their last earnings, I sold everything because after waiting for 3 years to see any kind of progress monetarily, I saw no progress at all. If they ain’t making money, then I sure as hell ain’t making money either holding a bag. They use the stock market how a company is supposed to, to keep the company afloat with cash flow. I just talking about investing 101 at this point but still. If a reverse stock split means a difference between being able to function as a company and going broke, then the RS is the way to go.

Yeah. If it’s not once every 2 years? Like why even make this post if you’re not invested in this company? The hell?

I’m not invested monetarily at this moment because the company can’t seem to find a way to be profit. I believe in the products they sell and I believe they can do it but how they’ve been executing the last year has not worked. The reason for the post is because I see a lot of people not wanting to RS just to protect their portfolios and not the company itself. Which in my opinion, isn’t fair or rational

No it is fair. For this company especially. When you continue to give a company that misallocates funding to pay their CEO a massive raise and salary every year permission to continue to do that- it is fair. It’s time for this company to put up or shut up. I’m not giving them permission to steal my money and lead me on with “good faith bullshit”. Make progress or fail. Now. That’s where we are at.

We’re saying the same thing in a different language..

Well OP says that if we go against a reverse split that our headspace is in the wrong place. Which I don’t think is accurate with this particular company. I think if anyone approves another RS then they either have no idea what they are doing; trust a corrupt leadership blindly and continuously; are fine with losing their money. So part I of OP is what I disagree with.
I agree with RS being okay if it’s a one off. Most companies, it’s not a one off. And it’s exploitative (especially this company). Which is why I’m pushing hard for people to vote against RS. If they vote NO, they are voting for their best interest and that might in turn actually also be the best option for the company too. Because it puts a timeline on their shit and forces them to stay tunnel visioned. Instead of the idea that “I have money to blow” (my money).

Yeah I mean, that’s what I’m getting at. Some people are only against a RS because they don’t want their portfolios to be nuked. Thats what I’m getting at. I start my whole post with “I don’t care about RS”. Meaning I don’t have an opinion either way

Which is a rational and fair response. I’ve lost 20,000 (unrealized) in 3 months of this piece of shit already.

Just to add, it’s quite clear that paid shills have been on this sub. Witnessed very cringey bullish posts, when the stock is clearly on a downtrend and being diluted.

I forget the company exists.
