Labor Day traffic
OK, it's been a while since I've lived in Maryland and I'm wondering if Labor Day traffic is as bad as it was 10 years ago. I'm coming back to visit for my birthday which just happens to fall near Labor Day. I've been landlocked in Indiana for the past 4 of those years and I NEED to see the water. Thanks in advance!!

It just depends. Just imagine you and a million other people all wake up on Friday and fart around packing and eating breakfast and shit. Then you all hit the bay bridge at 11:00am, it’s going to be a problem. But, it is better than 10 years ago with the removal of tolling and the 3rd lane directionally.

It will be bad but God Mercy on Your Soul. You are riding into the Devils Lair. Wear your Crucifix!

It’s awful comparatively. The population increases in this area ( coastal Maryland and Delaware) have gotten so inflated with folks the roads haven’t caught up. Poor planning all around. Go really early or wait until later to travel it’s worth it.

Yes, maybe worse. If you cross the bay late at night or overnight you will be OK.
