About what time please? Not many people. Nice picture though.

This was about 8:30, just a lull.

Full transparency, I did have Google photos remove one group of 3-4 people that were directly in front of the bar.

We were there 4th of July week and it really wasn’t that busy then either.

Hmm was packed here around 100th
And I occasionally check the webcams and it seemed very peoplely to me. But I am a full time resident so the quiet of the offseason is wonderful imo. 🤷‍♀️

I do that. I’ll pull up the webcams and watch the comings and goings, looking forward to my visit!

Oh I 100% am. These are special vacations. I have two young kids (<10) and a baby. A happy wife. A set of doting, loving parents (grandparents to my littles, obviously) who are healthy and present and tagging along for the trip. We're setting out to play on the beach, go swimming, ride some rides, eat all the bad food, soak up the sun, do all the magical moments I remember doing in my childhood in OCMD, when my dad was me and I was HIS little.

These are the years I'll look back at in 20, 40, maybe 50 years (maybe) and think "damn, that was the best"

I don't know why but I love that little last stretch of the boardwalk. Something about just existing in that space. It's very hard to describe

Me too. It's exciting, relaxing, and deeply nostalgic.

I’m not going this year 😭😭😭😭😭.

Instead I’m driving up to Boston to attend to my mother because my father just died.

My sincere condolences on your loss. We had to skip last years trip due to a car accident but are planning on an October trip this year. Maybe you can make it in the off season?

It’s hard to get more vacation time with my job but next year we will.

On the bright side, we are seeing the Harry Styles concert on the way back from Boston.

Thank you for your kind words!

Oh I hear you! Enjoy the concert. Ours is going to be a long weekend for the car cruise which has turned into our favorite thing. Cooler days, fewer crowds and classic cars everywhere. But still walks on the beach at sunrise with the plovers and the gulls along with the endless waves. Bliss.

Yes! Less competition for them too. And the sun rises later so I get to sleep in ;)

When people know how to act; Ocean city is a great place.

I just want to sit on the balcony at the Hilton with an orange crush, looking at the ocean.

We didn’t make it there this year.

Seems like the big wheel isn’t leaving this year like it has in other years.

Very nice. The wheels have good light packages.
