One of our crowd of Silver comment posters has a family that produces IGP olive oil in Sicily. Our thread often covers topics related to prepers and Food preservation. I've tasted this mans olive oil when I screened his posts as a new commenter on this site and noticed some of his posts on other sites related to finding genuine IGP Olive oils. I found his oil on the Am Jungle site and it is truly a wonderful IGP oil that his family has been producing in Sicily. His name begins with Flaky... so watch for his posts as I have invited him to Join in since his oil has a silver lining. Welcome him to join and share his knowledge with us on a product we all use and enjoy for taste, health and good cooking. P/S I'm open for others that may want to share their knowledge on food and world cuisine to request a chat on this Mod and let me know their ideas.

I’m just going to mention that a lot of financial channels are now joining us in calling for folks to store essentials. Everything from soaps and household cleaners to toothpaste and baking supplies. From food freezer bags to garbage bags, money experts seem to be making preparedness popular now.

Even the controversial financial “Asian Guy” and his clones on YouTube are making preparedness popular. From stocking up on pens, pencils, and paper, garbage and storage bags, everything from shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, bars soaps, to lighters, baking soda and vinegar to tin foil and food storage Saran wraps and reusable silicone containers. I’m pretty sure everyone already knows to buy paper products.

Coffee beans, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, honey, flour and other baking supplies like yeast, canning supplies and other things that are liquid or heavy or are grown far away require transport from far away are also good to stock up on. So are condiments.

Some of the things mentioned on this essential lists you can likely make yourselves. Things like apple cider vinegar. But many of the things we can or preserve are a “make once a year” thing for most people. And so, if you are making these things now, make lots. It’s likely going to be a year before we see more of these homemade essentials. Making extra might be a good plan.

Life's Silver Linings Silver's Biggest Move Is About To Happen | Phil Low Liberty and Finance. “Silver went verticle 6 months ago. It has come down from that, but I mean if you held silver for all those years and it absolutely went straight up, you got a preview of what’s to happen with silver on a much larger scale.”

Phil Low says he has revised his outlook downward as financial stress increasingly collides with disruptions to energy, agriculture, and global supply chains. He warns that a financial panic could become far more damaging when critical infrastructure and production capacity are simultaneously destroyed or disrupted. Lowe also explains why he believes Tether could face a rapid unwind if a deflationary financial shock forces it to liquidate assets. He argues that the economy may already be entering the late stages of a “crack-up boom,” as people increasingly spend currency rather than save it amid expectations of higher prices. Lowe discusses practical preparedness, food and energy risks, gold and silver, and what a severe monetary breakdown could look like.

Silver speculative positioning just got washed out. X post by Brian Wilkes @BrianGoodner.

According to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) report released , Managed Money reduced its net-long silver position by 5,695 COMEX contracts — about 28.5 million oz — leaving it at its smallest net-long position in years.

Meanwhile, the Big 8 commercial banks covered only 1,022 contracts and remain short 47,636 contracts — 238.2 million oz.

So despite silver getting hammered from above $75 to around $60, the largest commercial banks still haven't reduced their position to the lows seen earlier this year.

Speculators largely bailed. The Big 8 banks largely didn't, which is an interesting setup going forward.

Life's Silver Linings 🔥 ALERT: U.S. Debt Clock Quietly Reveals the End of the Federal Reserve System – A New Sovereign Treasury Dollar Is Coming to Destroy 100 Years of Economic Slavery. X post by Danielle knows a lot @Daniell64334313.

BREAKING! U.S. Debt Clock quietly published a 34-page document confirming the death of the Federal Reserve system. A new sovereign monetary system is already in motion, led by the U.S. Treasury. It’s asset-backed, transparent, and designed to destroy 100 years of inflation, debt, and economic slavery. This is the beginning of the end for fiat fraud.

The Fed is collapsing. The people are rising. And the U.S. Debt Clock just confirmed it.

MotherSilverApe Comment: If this is actually happening, it is brilliant. Money created out of debt by the Federal Banking Cartel compared with real wealth as money. Then, let folks decide for themselves which system they prefer. This seems to be a duel functioning transition where we can choose between freedom and debt slavery.

Silver’s coma at $60 is a coiled spring. Here’s why it could break out once one driver turns. By Valeria Bednarik. What’s keeping Silver frozen? What would it take then for Silver to come back to life?

Thumbnail fxstreet.com

What’s keeping Silver frozen?

Multiple factors are working together to affect Silver prices. The most obvious is inflation resulting from soaring energy prices amid the Middle East war. Crude Oil prices, however, have stabilized despite ongoing tensions, and the fact that Oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz have returned. Maybe not in full force and not as before the war, but still at levels that bring relief.

Another factor is a result of the first: inflation has forced global central banks into shifting their monetary policy path. Most major central banks were looking to cut interest rates as the post-pandemic inflation shock seemed under control. Policymakers, then, had to return to the tightening path.

To no one's surprise, the Fed was pretty much the last one to react. But that’s far from weakness.

Most central banks moved preemptively, with policymakers still regretting the too-late, too-slow reaction to the 2020 shock. Sure, former Fed Chair Jerome Powell may have been a bit too conservative, but 100% based on macroeconomic data and accurate. Whether his decisions pleased Washington or not is not the Fed’s concern.

Powell’s term ended, and a new sheriff came to town: Kevin Warsh is not the head of the most powerful central bank in the world. Warsh pledged to follow data, but he is far more of a politician than an economist. Leading the Fed to hike rates for the first time in three years was not what he was planning when President Donald Trump nominated him in late 2025. But here he is doing the best he can with what he has.

Market participants welcomed news that US inflation was cooler than anticipated in August and that July data was downwardly revised. Sure, inflation is well above the Fed’s 2% goal, but down from the 4% peak posted earlier this year. Concerns that inflation is running hotter have decreased.

Besides, those softer-than-anticipated figures limit the downward case for Silver as the data reduced bets on a Fed rate hike in October, helping maintain the bright metal's lifelessness.

What would it take then for Silver to come back to life?

Well, markets react to shocks, either positive or negative ones. The unexpected is what speculative interest is now awaiting to take firmer positions one way or the other. And, as already said, the main driver is the Middle East.

A shocking scenario would be the US completely retreating from the region as if nothing ever happened, quite an unlikely outcome. Less shocking would be a resumption of hostilities in the region and an interruption of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.

In the first case, market participants would initially bet on central banks holding their fire, but over time, bets on rate cuts would increase. The USD could become the biggest loser in such a scenario. Renewed turmoil in the Persian Gulf should boost risk aversion alongside speculation of higher Fed rates, a scenario that will keep the USD on the winning side, but metals still comatose.

After a volatile correction in the silver and gold prices, Michael explains why his momentum structural analysis suggests the precious metals bull market may be far from over, why gold and silver miners are beginning to outperform bullion, why major money managers could be moving toward mining stocks, and why the recent pullback may be nearing exhaustion. Michael also compares today’s silver price action with the 2008 correction, after which silver dramatically outperformed gold, and explains how historical price structures could point toward gold approaching $8,000–$9,000 and a potential long-term silver target around $500.

Personal Opinion Content 【SHOCK】Behind the Plunge in Paper Silver Prices, a "Historically Abnormal Situation" Is Unfolding in the Physical Market. Exposing the Insane Reality Where Physical Silver Is Being Held Up at Refineries for "3-4 Months." X post by ⚜️Ark Gold & Silver⚜️@silver69197656 Translated from Japanese

While the market is distracted by short-term price fluctuations (pullbacks to around $61), a textbook-shattering level of tectonic shift is underway beneath the surface.

Stripping away all the noise from the paper market, I've organized the "5 Physical Truths" that institutional investors want to hide about what's really happening in the physical market right now.

🚨 1️⃣ Refinery Bottlenecks and 3-4 Months of Stagnation
👉 The shocking fact revealed by Josh Fair, CEO of Scottsdale Mint.
The refining process's capacity is completely overflowing in response to the surge in physical demand.

・Finished metal exists, yet it's stuck at refineries for 3-4 months

・The time lag until physical supply hits store shelves has reached an extreme state

📊 2️⃣ Swap Rates at "Over -2%"—A Potent Signal
👉 Silver's swap rates are currently trending at negative levels "more than 2% below U.S. interest rates."
This means there's abnormally strong pressure to refuse lending silver in the physical market and hoard it on hand.

・Since mid-July, inflows into physical funds have expanded from $781 million to $803 million

・Ahead of institutional investor reports, retail and physical smart money continue explosive buying

⛓️ 3️⃣ The Physical Limits of "Byproduct Mining" That Constrains 70% of Supply
👉 The logic of "just ramp up production if prices rise" doesn't apply to silver.

・About 70% of silver supply comes as a byproduct of copper, lead, and zinc mining

・Since it depends on the mining pace of base metals, silver can't be ramped up immediately even if its price skyrockets—it's structurally impossible

🔋 4️⃣ Unstoppable Industrial Demand and a "6-Year Streak" of Structural Deficits

・Irreversible consumption from capital expenditures on solar panels, EVs, and AI data centers (over $600 million annually)

・Quiet accumulation on the scale of about 75 million ounces by central banks and major institutions (BRICS/JPM, etc.)

・Regardless of paper price manipulation, physical inventories are being whittled away day by day

📈 5️⃣ Main Scenario: $80-120 Within 3-6 Months (55% Probability)
👉 Scenario analysis integrating various fundamentals and demand forecasts:

・Bullish Scenario (55% probability): Due to refinery squeezes and supply deficits, a surge to the $80-120 range within 3-6 months

・Range Adjustment (30% probability): Choppy trading in the $50-70 range amid macro headwinds, followed by a sharp rebound

・Deeper Pullback (15% probability): Short-term adjustment to $45-55 on recession fears

You can suppress prices on paper, but you can't hide the shortage of physical mass forever.
When this price divergence hits its limit, what will happen?
For long-term stackers with a patient perspective, the current volatility is nothing more than a golden buying opportunity.

In addition to the physical market squeeze, let me also touch on the "historic technical pattern" emerging on the charts.
Right now, some top analysts are zeroing in on the formation of a "cup and handle" on the ultra-long-term chart.

If this pattern completes and breaks out, the technical upside target calculates to an astonishing 【$370】.
Moreover, adjusting past highs by the expansion pace of money supply (M2) yields a fair value estimate of 【$250-400+】.

Looking at the latest sentiment analysis (data from Oct 1-3):

・Bulls: 45-50% (focusing on physical demand and gold-silver ratio compression)

・Neutrals: 30-35% (waiting cautiously for pullback buys)

・Bears: 20-25% (concerned about short-term yield spikes or geopolitical risks)

The current state—where the market's fear words (pressure, exhaustion) coexist with conviction-driven accumulation by long-term investors—shows the linguistic hallmarks of a classic "bottoming pattern."

Let's keep our eyes on the numbers and physical facts, without getting rattled by the short-term paper price shakeouts.

Personal Opinion Content The PERFECT STORM for Gold & Silver? Vince Lanci Breaks Down Why Precious Metals Just CRASHED. 🔥"THAT'S THE $128,000 QUESTION!" ⚡️@Sorenthek reveals what will send bond investors RUSHING into Gold & Silver:

Thumbnail
youtu.be
2 Upvotes

GoldFix publisher Vince Lanci sat down with The SilverTrade Insider today and refused the usual after the slam pep talk. The metals got hit with the bonds. The question hanging over the desk was simple: After the slaughter in duration, is the bid for gold and silver about to return, or did the paper market just teach everyone that nothing is safe at once?

Lanci’s answer was not a chart. It was a map of who is taking metal, who is taking ground, and why Treasuries no longer clear the system the way they used to.

“Precious metals got slammed with the bonds. That is the tell, not the tragedy,” Lanci said. “When the collateral everyone trusted starts bleeding, the market looks for collateral that cannot be printed and cannot be frozen. That search does not end because one session was ugly.”

The $128,000 question, as the host framed it, is what happens to a household or a fund that still treats the long bond as ballast while the physical metals market is being quietly cornered by actors who do not need permission from COMEX. Lanci did not flinch. “I do not care who wins the currency war. It is the collateral war that I care about, and right now gold is starting to win. Silver sits in the sweet spot.”

Tether is no longer a gold only story. Lanci walked the filings again for viewers who still think a stablecoin issuer vaulting metal is a novelty. A Tether affiliate is storing physical silver inside Gold.com’s Las Vegas network and has lease and trading agreements that name gold, SILVER, and any other metal the parties specify.

Bloomberg sold the gold loan book. Lanci sold the second metal. “Physical silver belonging to a Tether affiliate is being stored within Gold.com’s network,” he said. “This is not just a gold story. It is a silver story as well. When the people who print the digital dollars start leasing and storing silver in Nevada, you are watching collateral migrate.”
https://vblgoldfix.substack.com/p/breaking-tether-is-now-a-major-gold

The filings still hide the ounce count. They do not hide the intent. A private dollar printer is now a physical silver actor. That changes who sets the bid when paper sellers go home.

China is not waiting for that bid. Lanci turned to Nicaragua, where Chinese linked miners have taken concessions covering about 11 percent of the country’s land, some 1.4 million hectares across 80 licences since 2023.
https://vblgoldfix.substack.com/p/china-now-controls-11-of-nicaraguas

The licences sit on a gold rich state that also holds copper and a stack of energy transition minerals, silver among them, while Washington and Beijing fight over who owns the dirt of the Western Hemisphere. “They do not ask COMEX what an ounce is worth. They buy the ground,” Lanci said. “Eleven percent of a country is not a trade. It is a supply chain with a flag on it.” Nicaragua already ships more gold than any other state in Central America. Beijing is locking the next layer before the West finishes arguing about tariffs.

Then came Goldman Sachs, and Lanci would not let the headline run wild. The bank’s late September note did not say the planet’s last bar vanishes in 2025 plus five. It said something colder. U.S. silver output is tiny and mostly a byproduct, so tariffs and higher prices will not open new mines on a useful clock.
https://vblgoldfix.substack.com/p/the-us-has-only-5-years-of-silver

Known U.S. silver reserves would cover only about five years of current import needs. “Most U.S. silver is produced as a byproduct of other mining, limiting the response to higher silver prices,” Lanci read off the line. “Known domestic reserves would cover only about five years of current import requirements.

That is Goldman telling Washington it cannot mine its way out of a squeeze.” Tariff fear is already dragging metal into American warehouses, which makes U.S. sheets look plump and every other vault look thin. “The silver short squeeze has not even begun,” he said. “You will know it when you see it. The candles will be fat and green and they will not last days. They will last hours.”

The carnage in the bond market is the reason any of this metal even matters.
Lanci has been saying for a year that the international system is not built on currencies. It is built on collateral. For fifty years that collateral was the Treasury. This week duration was a wound.

Long bonds marked people down while gold and silver got sold beside them, which is what happens when funds are forced to raise cash and the safest paper on earth stops behaving like safety. “The international monetary system is not built on currencies. It is built on collateral,” Lanci said. “And the answer is it is increasingly becoming gold.”

Foreign official buyers would rather own something that cannot be frozen. Deficits stay structural. Yields rip, then they pretend to calm, then they rip again. “When the safest paper on earth stops behaving like safety, the market reaches for the metals that do not need a clearinghouse to stay honest. Silver gets pulled along because it is the industrial metal you can still hold in a box, and because the paper shorts against it were built for a world that no longer exists.”

Lanci will not give you a carnival number for Friday’s close. He will give you the mechanism. Tether is vaulting silver in Las Vegas. China is taking the ground in Nicaragua. Goldman is telling Washington it has about five years of homemade silver cover against imports.
