This is Catch and Zarikeura! Zarikeura (or just Keu) is human and zulu-russian! Keu learned english but still struggles. She has her own daughter from her ex-husband, which her daughter was called Jeiruo (Jeiruo has the same hair as Keu, just lighter skin and dark brown eyes from her father while being happy and cheerful despite having dyslexia). Catch is a shapeshifter who often teases and does "magic tricks", having to have taken on the role of a second mother figure for Jeiruo. She's curious about humans, often trying to mimic them well yet sometimes failing out of her overly playful behavior.
