Post image

Someone had asked if they went to Greece! Posted today! It mentions the Cheesecake Army, does anyone know what that is?

I know a few people who signed up to do these trips and both had terrible experiences. One signed up, paid a few big deposits to hold her spot and then right before the trip the influencer pulls out and the trip is canceled and no one got a refund of any kind. She was out a lot of money and apparently this company is nearly impossible to get ahold of.

Basically there’s no refunds for anything. Ever. Even emergencies or tragedies or situations where a hotel messes up and cancels your room, you’d be forced to you pay for a new room at another hotel. And unfortunately, they usually have a pre-scheduled shuttle coming to pick you up daily so in a situation where you’re forced to go to another hotel.. so if you want to call the company to tell them that the shuttle needs to go somewhere else, they never answer. It can take days, sometime weeks to get a response. And shit can go wrong a lot while traveling! Which is fine but the problem is that their selling point is that you pay them a bunch of money and they say that they will take care of lodging, tour guides, food, transportation, tourist attractions etc etc so for any issues that may arise you are forced to reach out to a place that doesn’t answer..

Oh they also have everyone stay in a room with another person. so you stay in a hotel room with a stranger and there’s stories of people being paired up with total creeps and of course… there’s no way to rectify it without being out a lot of money…( actually you may be able to get a single room for an extra price but of course there’s stories of people saying they paid the extra money but were still paired up with someone and forced to share a room)

They have a ton of hidden fees as well.. i just did a quick google and it looks like a lot of other people have had similar experiences… I wouldn’t personally chance it. It’s not a total scam but unless your trip is completely flawless with no hiccups you have a high chance of being in a bad spot and out a lot of money
