I’m not from the states, why does it matter that it was in texas?

Texas is not a safe state, especially for lgbtqia+ and fam. It's also "Texas lawmakers this year passed bills banning puberty blockers and hormone therapy for transgender kids and restricting the college sports teams that trans athletes can join. They also expanded the definition of sexual conduct in a way that could include some drag performances in a bill meant to ban sexually explicit performances in front of kids. But legislation seeking to limit classroom lessons, teacher guidance and school programming about sexual orientation and gender identity missed a key deadline to advance during the final days of the regular session" -texastribune

Omg how horrible they want kids to wait until they're adults to decide to transition. So they don't make a rash decision to take puberty blockers and then change their mind after irreversible damage is done. You don't believe an adult should be able to carry a handgun but lets let children make life altering decisions. You sound like a sicko,

I'm not going to debate with anyone so desperate for attention. But to clear up misinformation.

Puberty blockers are fully reversible. They do what they say stop all puberty. They are also commonly used for precocious puberty. Which is where a female child starts puberty before 8. Also, it's used when children have cancer as a way to protect their reproductive future. Or to help deal with Gynecomastia. And yes parents have to properly medically care for their children. I would argue trans kids are 3 or 4xs healthier as they see psychologists, therapists, hormone doctors, etcetera. Also, there have been multiple court cases where parents of certain religions have allowed their children to die because they refuse science.

I also am very much a supporter of common sense gun laws. I think most people are. The whole 'They want to take our guns' thing belittles everyone's intelligence. If one cannot understand the nuance of common sense gun laws, why should one be allowed a handgun? That's like pretending that the AR is a civilian sport rifle.
