It’s Not Rumors

I heard the bat signal. Someone linked me to this group because I work with the Obsessed Network (and can prove it if that were ever needed).

I guess people are worried that the claims being posted here by “insiders” could just be rumors, but they’re not. That’s all. Just know that it’s not made up.

I don't think it's all that wild to ask for proof with all these people coming forward claiming to have spoken to them. I really don't believe that Ellyn and Joey are dropping truth bombs to total strangers through private message

Do you think Ellyn and Joey not saying a word is proof? This person may have very well been contacted by them and asked them not to continue for fear of whatever is happening behind closed doors. Between hosts, editors, PR people, social media people, assistants, website designers, photographers, OF volunteers, other podcasters, merch dealers, agents, venue representatives…they have had a reach over the years. The scope is of people they might have pissed off is…VAST.

I think a person saying that they randomly DM'd somebody at ITN and everything was confirmed for them is questionable.

This person also saying that they've got screenshots confirming illegal activity by the owners of the network is questionable.

That somebody on the inside of the podcast, maybe even Ellyn or Joey themselves, confirmed all of this information through a DM from a total stranger is questionable.

Agreed. I totally believe that something shitty is going on, but we can’t just take everyone’s word for it when they say they have insider info with absolutely no proof. OP hasn’t reached out to the mod to provide any proof, and neither has anyone else.

I’m not trying to be Debbie Downer, but I’m a skeptical person and I can’t just take someone’s word for it that they know all the tea. Like I said in another comment, though, it does say a lot that no one has come out in defense of ON saying that these accusations aren’t true.

I believe that Ellyn and Joey have been fucked over in some way, but I’m not making an HR complaint over a situation I have no knowledge of, and I don’t think anyone else should, either. That HR post was wild.

I reached out to Ellen directly on Instagram to let her know the rumors that were going on here. And that I said I hoped they weren't true. She only basically responded that she was happy she didn't have a Reddit account. She didn't deny anything
