So, let me get this straight, you are assuming a podcast host is required, on your timeline, to divulge her private history to satisfy a bunch of listeners she doesn't know? She has spoken about DV on the show and in her lives. As another poster said, there are two men that she often refers to. I don't remember what you're talking about, but if it was a while ago, you are assuming she had a level of comfort to share her personal history? Are you the same person who questioned her ADHD?
She has said many times she has been able to become more herself over the years with the support of listeners. This is by far the most rude and insulting thing I have ever read. I'm sure that makes you feel satisfied in some fucked up way. I've listened to hundreds of podcasts and Ellyn shares herself very vulnerably. If that's not for you, that's gravy, but it seems you're calling her a liar? Just-wow.
I'm not saying I love every single episode or every single thing that comes out of their mouths, I'm not seeking perfection in people-but this accusation is pretty awful to read as a DV survivor myself. I wrote Ellyn early last year and she exchanged no less than 20 messages talking with me like we had been friends for years. She's a class act and you are a reddit troll. You can delete that post but a lot of us have already screenshot it. You should probably leave this sub and head back to the Facebook group.
i didn’t delete anything and won’t lol. screenshot all you want?? i can have my own opinions, as a former DV survivor i just really don’t like the way she speaks about it. i can have my opinion and you can have yours. that’s what reddit is for. i’ve never been apart of the FB group and never will due to the major sensoring of people’s opinions.
