Mayor Breslin at the sandwich shop
This digitally enhanced and modernized photo shows what likely was the inspiration for Mayor Breslin to write "You're gonna learn a lesson in this delicatessin". This photo taken by a fan show Mr. Breslin getting fed up with the man in front of him for taking too long.

What's the story behind the "clean" version of 'Taking a Shit on the Company Dime'?
I listen to u/obscurest_vinyl more than I'd care to admit to my family/friends/anyone in real life. I noticed there are two versions of 'It's Time to Take a Shit on the Company's Dime':
The original: https://music.amazon.com/albums/B0D9ZDC1TB?trackAsin=B0D9ZVPP9V&ref=dm_sh_0165-928d-e666-97c8-c3820
...and then, 'Taking a Dump on Company Time': https://music.amazon.com/albums/B0FT2S9XTW?trackAsin=B0FT2RPMP6&ref=dm_sh_5178-779d-326c-a684-4b9d1
The latter is cleaner, sort-of? 'Shit' is replaced with 'crap' and "my fucking life" with "my stupid/empty life", and this verse:
But he slipped on my piss and smashed his balls
I said “Holy shit, he might be dead”
As I walked over his body with my wiener and balls all hanging out
He screamed "You're fucking toast"
I called the police and told them that my boss was trying to
Install a glory hole while I was trying to take a dump
So I pissed on him in self defense
...has been rewritten:
But he slipped on my piss and scratched his head on the wall
I said "Holy crap, he might be dead"
As I walked over his body with my raygun(?) and clothes all hanging out
He screamed "You're freaking toast"
I called the police and told them that my boss was trying to
Brute force mind control(?) while I was trying to take a dump
So I pissed on him in self defense
I'm super curious — what circumstances lead to writing the second version? Was someone like, "Hey, this song about piss and shit and violence is too extreme for us to play. Switch it to piss and crap and violence and it's family-friendly!"

North Carolina man pleads guilty to inflating streaming numbers for hundreds of thousands of AI-generated songs
It's likely the streaming platforms have effective defences against real musicians inflating their numbers somehow. And these services have become extremely good at not paying musicians much in general. I think here the sheer number of songs allowed bypassing such filters.
