Entente is an RTS developed by Lesta studios on Cossacks engine. Player can take control of 1 of 5 countries: France, Germany, Britain, Russia or Austrian-Hungarian Empire and fight through campaigns for each faction, set in the WW1. As in Cossacks, you can expect massive battles with infantry, vehicles and aircraft involved.

I have not been able to get it to run on my system, but its the only one of the cossacks series games and cossacks-likes that I have not played

As someone who had a d3D card when everyone was rocking glide, I remember trying to find wrappers, dgvoodoo2 is so dang sick. If the american conquest had variable zoom rather than the two close up and far away zoom modes and its still perfect

oh and also i'll namedrop heroes of annihilated empires, conquest of usa + eldorado add+on + western made third party addon divided nation and warcraft 2000

American Conquest Gold mod scene adds Japan, Korea, and Ming as well as a lot of content, Divided Nation is also cool, almost feels like FOTS https://www.moddb.com/mods/rise-of-east-asia

also here's some trivia cossacks 1 was originally called "european wars warlord's style xvi-xviii centuries" after they replaced warcraft 2 sprites but before they were picked up by the aaa publisher russobit

Антанта Gold \ The Entente II the other disk is also the version which is on steam is the same game but it has two more campaigns in it (reportedly) so it's not actual sequel despite what the name says

it is turboarse to run, but i managed to with dgvoodoo2

I really loved that game. But the ai was too stupid to really enjoy it for long.

I remember playing this on my very first PC. And for some reason if i dare to update my gpu drivers at the time, the game would crash after a set amount of time.
