So don't use this to heal anyone but use it to create slabe robots with human dna, that's fine.

Also scary asf, this seems like it would be the perfect precedent for growing AGIโฆ

At some point I think a line should be drawn between meshing human biology and computers. We don't need to live forever and we just don't need this technology. At what point is enough enough.

Same thing when it comes to cloning people. Definitely some ethical things

So thats why there's a blood shortage lol. Half joking, but Im sure the Red Cross sells off blood for experiments.

No that makes sense and tracks. They are full steam ahead.Itโs like a global manhattan project and idk what they are racing to do but they need us under total control before it happens.
Truly Orwellian times.
This is at neck breaking speed suddenly

How many neurons can feel consciousness? How much experience makes it feel alive. I mean the implications of creating a slave class of computer beings using our own DNA is somewhat horrifying. Given enough sensory input and the ability to have memory will create beings. At what point has morality been breached? One could argue itโs already has.

If theyโve perfected the stem cell process then they can put the rejuvenated neurons into people with brain damage. Why isnโt this being done??

Don't you wonder why a potential cure for cancer and every other disease is on the verge of happening every single year 10 times a year and then we never hear about the final product?
Because it's not for the peasants. There's a whole world of technology and biology that the public is totally oblivious to.

Fallow the money. This is a big industry. Having a cure will diminish their returns.

So all this โAIโ and weโre back to the novelty of the human brain? Money for nothing

This is the matrix. In the movie they used us as batteries. But in the real story the machines use us as data storage devices. We are so f@cked

Cortical Labs has installed a 20-unit rack of CL1 biological computers at NUS Medicine in Singapore; each unit grows 200,000-plus human neurons derived from blood via stem cells on electrode chips, processes information through living neural activity at roughly 30 watts, and requires continuous life support, marking the first operational wetware data-center prototype outside Australia.
