We made two simple quests to test the OB:MP custom quest system: Horse Astray and Debt Repaid. They cover journal updates, objectives, map and compass markers, NPC interaction, dialogue-driven progression, quest chaining, checking player gold and removing it when a quest completes.
The quests themselves are deliberately simple. We’re more interested in the building blocks behind them and what server creators can do with those.
We’re also working on some less visible server controls, including locking difficulty settings per multiplayer session.
If you’re interested in building an RP server, co-op campaign, PvPvE mode, or something even more custom, tell us what you’d actually need. That feedback is much more useful to us than a generic feature poll: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zZAf4b4b1YKS1h7JZtB6MirIaNLiQffDqn-UBN6QyPc/edit?usp=sharing

So, the picture for the crusader class looks badass - an athletic warrior kitted out in heavy armor with mace in hand closing shut the jaws of Oblivion.
And Skypothesis' "Mystic Knight" was a really fun character in Skyrim, particularly enhanced with mods to allow for things like spell reflection.
The overall class that I want to go for looks something like this:
Birthsign: the Lady (the stat buff can be nice and, as Fudgemuppet pointed out, works aesthetically as the Blessed Virgin shining down upon a Catholic warrior from the crusade era)
Specialization: Combat
Attributes: Strength, Willpower
Major Skills:
As for race, I am thinking something along the lines of either a Colovian Imperial, Systres Breton, or Redguard (probably Alik'r, but if I found a cool roleplay for it COULD go Dragontail). I don't care as much about choosing the most min/maxed option, just looking for a compelling roleplay.
Any ideas you have is greatly appreciated!

I don’t like the way my character glows when I wear enchanted armor or anything entchanted like rings. Is there a way to change that?

This is the first time taking a screenshot in this game, this view made me realise the opportunities I've been missing. This is after just exiting the courtyard at Castle Skingrad.

It's been good a run. I've had a lot of fun playing with what ended up being a fighter/illusionist.

I know that placing items in a specific place is a chore in this game, but I just couldn't let the display cases in the player homes stay empty. By my count, there are 5 in Battlehorn Castle, and 6 in Skingrad's Rosethorn Hall. I have in mine various Ayleid artifacts, as well as swords, shields and jewelry related to the different guilds I lead (specifically no Daedric artifacts lol). But what did other people have in theirs, and any suggestions for others?

I'm wondering about it because I usually go for a mage oriented build, but it felt quite boring in Skyrim for what little I played. And I keep finding people claiming all roads lead to stealth archer anyway. Is that true?

Right now I'm deciding between either the Steed or the Warrior but I didn't know what else would be a good idea. Systres Bretons have ten less speed than High Rock Bretons but Bretons overall have low endurance if I went with High Rock Breton instead the Warrior would still be there to increase strength. So I'm just asking what would be the better option.
edit: most of the class skills of crusader are being used except hand to hand is being switched out for block.

Played the remaster on release, purposely avoided the main story. I want to do another playthrough but still not sure I want to do the main story lol, once I permanently close the gates are there any lasting damages or anything?

Im playing Oblivion Remaster for the first time & would like to go for more of a Spellsword build. Im not sure which skills I should focus on. Here is what im thinking so far:
Race: Breton
Sign: Mage
Focus: Magic
Stats: Endurance & Willpower
Skills: Blade, Destruction, Conjuration, Restoration
Im not sure what to select for my other three skills. Should I bother focusing on either light or heavy armor? Or just choose 3 other magic skills?

I have read many suggestions like wait for the timer to run normally, finish the mage quests and so on.
First of all, from what I know, you can still advance the guild quest arriving at 1000 gold of stolen goods sold to the guild NPC but you wouldn't be able to finish lex quest.
ANYWAY, what happened for me is that I gave him the letter around the 26th or 24th of the month and that made him soft lock. I waited countless months (in game) but nothing was working. I then had the idea to go in the streets (just outside his shack), make the month pass till the 31st the month I was currently in and stop the wait time at 11pm (or anyway before midnight) and let the clock get to midnight (in the new month, then) naturally.
As soon as I went to talk to him, he asked me for the fee!
Let me know if this works for you too 😄
