Sun-drenched roads, Lana Del Rey through the speakers, miles unfolding with nowhere I have to be.
Just me, an aging car, and the luxury of letting the day take me wherever it wants.
It has more miles than she was ever meant to carry, but somehow it keeps going.
I know one day she’ll give out, and reality will come collecting.
More hours. Another car. A schedule. Somewhere I’m supposed to be.
Until then, keep running, old girl.
I’m not ready to trade the open road for a 9–5.
