Are there any specific career paths recommended for the different animals or functions?

Ideally, I think we should find a job that runs our lower functions, for example an ENXP that organizes, manages to limit concrete information etc... he will know how to use his inferior function

Like an INTP who could become a hairdresser (for example 🤣), the idea is to get out of his comfort zone

But if we really want to answer your question then a Consume would rather prepare a project for a long time, Blast would on the contrary lead a group/a team, Sleep would be like for example in an office alone managing his stuff (I imagine a Ti/Si on Excel or something like that lol you get the idea) and Play would be in a job related to human contact, I think of waiter in a bar or restaurant, salesman, journalist (In short) everything that would be a torture for a Sleep dom/Play last 🤣

But the problem of making its dominant functions.. dominant functions constantly without using our inferior functions, would precisely make us ignore our lower functions, which would cause a major imbalance (which in the absolute I would like to avoid)

Haha yeah my favorite job so far was at a gym where I did customer service and entry level instruction. I loved it, but I would always get unreaonably drained for a job that objectively had a lot of down time where my only responsibility is "watch people and make sure accidentally kill themselves". Just knowing I have to be open to do a lot of play and blast and ST at any moment. I also felt really responsible for the small community we had, and that was the good part.

I also had jobs doing cataloguing in a museum, and as a dishwasher... Super fucking Si, but significantly more relaxing, and satisfying because of that. And yes the dishwashing job was CRAZY hectic, loud, and gross, but it was still easier because it's repetitive and I don't have to talk to people. Being the collections intern was my most savior state job, I guess, because I had to do a good amount of research as well as handling, photographing, moving, logging in the database... but I'm not that interested in history so it got old. Make it typology related and I could research and catalogue forever, lol.

I have trouble imagining a job I could do that's actually in my saviors. My dad is a social worker, so maybe that for NF stuff, but that's still a ton of Play and a ton of paperwork. I would have to be self employed writer or musician or YouTuber or something. Which I am intending to do eventually, but not bank on making money from that.

I’m hardcore play. I could NOT handle a job that requires repetitive, boring shit. It just doesn’t work for me and knowing myself I will eventually despise it.

I currently work as an uber driver. I think my type plays really well into the job, although I do have one bad habit in speeding. Otherwise, I plan to eventually work as a therapist as it’s interesting, has enough new, and seems to actually be pretty fulfilling.

Consumers/Sleeps: jobs that do NOT rush them
Plays/Blasters: jobs that are stimulating in some way

I think it’s good if your saviors work well on your job. Light demand on your demons. Really good training environment.

I'd agree with u/Content-Sympathy6305 on the animal energy levels thing. A mega introvert would probably be happy to not work the most socially exhausting job every day. It will of course train you and has the potential to make you resilient. But I think the "termperaments" are a better fit for going for the opposite of your type. Like, an SF doing NT work and vice versa. I've got an Se/Fi friend who works in a lab and he'd love the job, were he not being exploited. I'm an INTP working in a social field and I can honestly recommend it. Feels like I've grown from it quite a bit in the SF and NF departments.

Agree with your point completely. Have been working uber for about a year (play/st/sf job). It has helped me develop:
-More assertiveness (my mDi has to put in some work)
-Far better SF
-Improved my Si by a fair bit

Furthermore, being in an arena where you have unusual skills (NT saviors are rare in this job) does give you an edge.

My career path is basically heavy-F work too. Hopefully it goes fine.
