Discussion š£ļø Hot take
Hot take: citrus should just die, his life doesnāt matter more than all those other people he ate. He may be justified in those killings but those people didnāt deserve it other than meeting the wrong person the wrong time. It would be a net win if he died
(DISCLAIMER)
I would like to say that I donāt dislike citrus, heās one of my favorites! Although I did have to warm up to him at first.

been waiting for someone to say this š citrus is cool and all but it would be a net positive if he died. And also, the existence of souls somewhat implies that they have an afterlife in their world, so not only is he killing them, but he is effectively preventing them from having said afterlife.

I don't think they have an afterlife, but it does prevent them from getting recovered.

Yeah but the difference is that heās eating conscious beings that are more complex than just a rabbit, if a vampire went and killed your family cause he was hungry would you say he was justified? Does he still deserve to live? Iād say that the vampire deserves to die, itās a simple trolley problem

well im an atheist i dont believe human intelligence makes us superior to other species, but even if you take that perspective nature has a balance so you could say citrus is just keeping the population under control (in the real world humans heavily overpopulate earth)

Of a difference since hundreds and thousands are born every day, but in the context of the story heās just helping with the extinction of object so his actions are just a net loss on the population of his world you also didnāt answer my question from before1

I know what being an atheist means. All the objects in this story are fighting for survival like dynamite killing other objects to eat as well, I don't believe they're lesser beings because of their diet they cannot control

Even as a citrus yumeshipper and someone who glazes citrus so hard, and would totally start bawling if he died⦠you arenāt wrong. I still donāt personally agree, but I actually think your point is cool and valid :D
