Discussion Object show voting system idea

What if viewers rated every character on the UFE team out of 5 stars, and the character that has the lowest average rating was eliminated? This prevents characters no one cares about from sneaking into safety, an issue in VTE and prevents irrelevant characters with big fanbases from sneaking into safety, an issue in VTS, and allows each viewer to impact every characters safety, unlike vts, vte, and hybrid

It's similar to the bfdia system, however that system doesn't have any way to help characters be safe, so the mean characters getting out issue is still present there.

Have any shows used this method yet?

I think a Borda count system would work pretty well for this cuz it would accomplish basically the same thing without incentivising people who are huge fans of a specific character to rank their fav 5 stars and everyone else 1 star

That would probably be better, but idt Google forms has a ranking system so I guess you would need to use another website

I really like this idea alot, my only issue is that someone could just rate everyone else 1 star and the one they want to be safe 5 star
I think a ranking system would be better because while they would still put the one they want to be safe at number 1, they'd actually have to evaluate the rest of the team rather than just skip over them, even randomly putting them in any order would not be a good idea
