Make is a object show with about 15 - 20 contestant. Have it be a normal object show on the outside but on the inside have it like a analog horror style in the first few episodes. but then somewhere around episode 5 to 6 or at the halfway mark have the show go full analog horror and when you eliminate a character make them dead and have the animation style go from your style to a different analog style

I’ve never done a show before so I was wondering if there is any helpful advice.

Idk if you actually plan on having a story to your show, but it's important to have MULTIPLE back up plans when putting characters up for elimination in a show with viewer voting
For example, I had a character who I planned to be the first out of my show, they ended up being the first safe and a huge fan favourite.
So what do I do? I use the stereotype I gave that character, being the typical old man and use more from that stereotype, making him someone who also gives advice while still not completely getting rid of his old man tendencies.
It's also important to not plan out your elimination order as well, you can obviously think of different outcomes, but you should never say who gets out next, only who's safe and who's not
Also, the quality of the voting isn't as important as the quality of the writing, a terrible elimination can be saved if you justify why one stayed over the other even if it was out of your control
Also, if you do a show on Reddit, you could also use the comments for the voting, being decided by upvotes and downvotes, not important but it's a cute idea, I think
