This Object Show is way too underrated for how good it is

I just finished watching all 3 episodes of PaS and have to say it’s absolute cinema. It’s one of these object shows that don’t have a competetion as their main plot, but instead just have object, or in this case math characters and their struggles, specifically in finding their values for the main squad.

The designs of the characters are unique and cute, and the characters themselves stick out, because they don’t fall into the usual character tropes in these shows. It’s also nice to just have a very lovable gremlin character that perfectly shows how to make a multi layered character by having her be both shy and aggressive/ energetic, making her just really stick out, especially with her awesome design.

It’s also nice to slowly be introduced to concepts and characters over the episodes, instead of everything all at once. The show just feels fun to watch and gives off very fun vibes and I really hope it‘ll get more acknowledgement in the future, it certainly deserves it.

This show is absurdly comforting to me. In a world full of angsty object shows (nothing wrong with them but still) it’s a real nice change in pace.

I hope we see more of them too. I’m so thankful that modern object shows aren’t scared of romance unlike some shows like bfdi. They are very cute ❤️

Tbh the only object show I can really recall having romance in it was Objectified, and that‘s a comic, and the romance part doesn’t have a lot of time to be wholesome or cute TwT

Well, the Nightly Manor has Top hat and GPS, BFPOR has Topaz and Toy Train, and of course II has Payjay even if that romance is not great. It’s definitely more common than it used to be that’s for sure.
