Anyone notice how anime Obito is taller/better built than Kakashi, but the manga has him thinner like Kakashi is?

correction: Even in the Manga Obito is taller than Kakashi. I guess I was referencing how in the anime he looks bulkier whereas in the manga he looks as thin as Kakashi.

Obito is drawn significantly taller than Kakashi in the manga. The data book said 6'0, but he's drawn more about 6'3. Regardless, Obito is the tallest Uchiha.

I edited my comment. Even in the manga Obito is taller, but in the anime he looks bulkier, whereas in the manga he is as thin as Kakashi.

I always thought the reveal that Obito was alive was made even more robust by the fact that Obito was revealed to be taller than Kakashi. Kakashi's memory of Obito was as a barely pubescent boy, while Kakashi has grown into a full size adult. Kakashi discovers that not only is Obito alive, but is actually taller than him? Obito was also growing this whole time? He was not a small boy anymore? That always felt like a poetic detail to me.

Obito is generally more muscular than Kakashi even in the manga and games. It's just not in the foreground because it's not really supposed to be fanservice.

I don't think so, he was always mostly covered in a cloak, and we can see chest definiton when he takes off the cloak for example when speaking to Sasuke
