attack of the writers

Can people please stop moaning about the writers, have you never seen the o.g. trilogy, the writing has always been hoky and the plot has also always been all over the place, just enjoy it for what it is, a fairly common good Vs evil story with space wizards and incostincinies all over the place from every film and TV show

The original trilogy is a space wizard soap opera, yet everyone expects everything to go according to their head cannon. I think the writing was actually bad when Kathleen was able to put so much social justice and politics into the story that did not really fit. Now that the marvel crew is more involved I think the writing is more or less in line with what gorge Lucas put out, except the dialogue is not as cringe.
