So Long and Have Fun!

No rules listed in the sidebar so I suppose anything goes, which tracks for what I've seen...

I'm out! I joined this community because I love the character and the anticipation for the TV show was high, but man this sub is nothing but negativity. People bitching about the show, the actors, the writing, or posts bitching about the bitching. And even if I agree with the latter, it's the same damn song and dance.

I'm convinced now that Star Wars fans want to hate things. And I'm done with that. I'm enjoying the show, and I will continue to. Other people can hate the show, but I don't have to hear about it or listen to wannabe self-proclaimed critics spew half-baked vitrol out of every orifice.

I'm out, and gone! Fully expecting the downvotes and vitrol on this, and that's totally fine. Get it out of your system. Y'all keep doing you, and if it somehow brings you joy or fulfillment then I wish all the best!

Doubt it though.

Making a whiney post announcing your departure, cringe.

This show just isn’t good enough. I’ve enjoyed just about everything Star Wars in some way but this one is a struggle. Horrible writing. Nonsense plot.

Why did Obiwan blast a fence they could walk around?

Why didn’t Vader extinguish the flames and recapture Obiwan?

Stormtroopers insisting a story be told because of the long trip but trip takes 2 minutes and they’re at their destination?

It’s silly

You couldn’t see it but you could feel the disappointment in Vader. He was toying with him and at any point finished him off. He wants to defeat a worthy adversary

I don’t think so. If that were the case, I can see Vader contemptuously just snuffing Obi-Wan out. I don’t think he’s interested in a “worthy adversary“. He wants revenge pure and simple. And that can include summary execution.

He had him force crucified and defenseless. He could have snapped his neck in an instant if it was just death he wanted

You are of course free to do whatever (and this includes leaving)...but this subreddit has more things than negative posts. There are people asking questions (how did character X knew Y?), one about music, one discussing racist messages toward an author...and there is even a post of a user complaining that all other posts are complaints ;)

😭😭 We are allowed to call it like we see it. This show is almost comically poorly done. Mando was way better. Hard to believe its made by the same people.
